Edited listing photos: make the changes understandable
Keep originals, explain digital alterations and check the requirements of your publication channel.
Start with transparency
Keep an unedited photograph beside a generated concept when possible. Explain which elements were added or removed. Do not present virtual furniture as equipment included with the property.
Check the applicable requirements
Listing platforms and local rules can have different requirements. Check current official guidance for the location and platform before publishing. This guide does not provide a legal interpretation of California AB 723 or certify compliance.
Keep a review record
Keep the original, the edited version and your description of the changes. Check permanent features against the original. If a result changes the property's condition or structure, do not use it as a faithful listing photograph.
